Honest, Knowledgeable, Dependable!!!
I called Rod about a problem with my Maytag neptune Washer. I wash able to immediately reach him by calling his mobile #, he asked me a few questions, had me go to my machine & instructed me what to do & was able to make a spot on diagnosis of my problem. Instead of telling me he'd be out in a few days & charge me an outrageous service call fee, he honestly explained that my repair would be around $400 & due to the age and reputation of my machine, it would be best if we replaced it. Although a new washer wasn't in our plans, we greatly appreciate Rod's honesty & knowledge and would call him again or refer our friends to him at any time!! Thank You Rod, it's nice to know there are good people like you out there for consumers!

Honest opinion on clothes washer repair
I just called regarding my front-loading washing machine. I had opened up the back of my machine and saw that the main wheel for the spinner and belt was loose and called to ask him for his opinion. he then proceeded to explain the problem and said that in a previous repair it had cost about $400. since I had only paid around $300 for the washer, we both agreed I was better off purchasing a new washer. his website also has upfront-general pricing for going to your home and doing typical repairs/service.
Pros:honest opinions...clearly knows his appliances and can explain things over the phone. upfront/general pricing can be found on his website.
Cons:none so far, yet I'll definitely call him on a service or repair next time.

Dryer Repair
Rodney returned my call within an hour, and arrived right on time! Service was great! Everything was explained and he was happy to answer any questions I had. Can't beat a 20.00 discount for cash either! Would highly recommend his services to anyone! Thanks Rodney!

Repaired Washing Machine
We had Rod repair our washing machine. He was there the next morning and fixed it in 20 minutes. The price was fair and we would definitely recommend his service to everyone.

Rod's Appliance Service
I called Rod about a problem with my refridgerator and he quickly had a solution. I asked if he could come make the repairs and he said that he could, but it would be cheaper for me to make the repair myself. In short I made the repair and the problem is fixed. I just called him again with another problem and he walked me through the process on the phone on fixing it. Rod is honest and more than fair. I will absolutly use him in the future. Thank you Rod!

Honest
This is the second time using Rod for a repair and have had great results each time. First was 6/27/08 for a washing machine issue which wound up being very minor and he explained and showed me what happened and how to avoid the problem in the future. The second time was a fridge issue which he was able to fix the same day and reasonably. I wish all repair people we as honest as Rod.
Pros:Honesty
Cons:May not be available to take your call right away but will call back the same day. A decent tradeoff for an honest job.

Fridge Meltdown

Dryer Repair
My experience with Rod was very POSITIVE. He rebuilt part of my dryer. His price was fair and while he was working inside the dryer, he did some unexpected routine maintenance (i.e. lubed the bearing) for which he did not charge anything additional.

I called for some advice about our broken microwave oven. Based on what Rod told me, we are going to just replace it rather than repairing but he was happy to take the time to answer my questions even though we live WAY up north, outside his service area. I appreciate him taking the time to help me out!

Appliance repair
Rod was excellent. I recommend his service to everyone. I had him fix a washing machine I had. He arranged to see it the same day I called. It appeared that a part was needed to fix the problem. He ordered the part and scheduled a time two days later. When he returned with the replacement part, as he was disassembling the machine to replace the part, he discovered that the replacement part was not needed. He told me and made the fix for less than I was expecting. I really appreciated his honesty and integrity.

I had a powersurge that burned out my fridge. Rodney came and fixed it. He explained what he was doing and why, was very polite and affordable. I would recomend highly.
