Quality PLUS!
We have been extremely pleased with the professional service Excede provided throughout our remodeling project. Rob handled the details in a manner that was beyond our expectations. We felt very comfortable dealing with him as project manager. This was especially important to us as we were living out of the state. Remodeling an older home always presents unanticipated issues requiring creative solutions to achieve the results desired. We had complete confidence in his professionalism and trustworthiness as he consulted with us long-distance and then proceeded to execute the agreed solutions. The results were awesome and we couldn't be happier.
Pros:Quality service and materials from beginning to end of our project. Oversight of subcontractors, scheduling of work, execution and completion of work were all right on the mark.

Basement Finish "ExCeded" Expectations
Our basement finish with ExCede was top-notch. Curt and Alma spent extensive time with us during the design process and came up with an amazing plan to utilize our small space. Excede Construction-Basement Finish
Curt and Alma worked tirelessly with us on the plan to finish our basement. The final plan was functional (2BR, BA, large media room, kitchen with wet bar, built-in shelves for electronics, and tons of storage space) and everything was completed on time to our satisfaction. Everyone that worked on the project knew their craft and were professional in their demeanor and a pleasure to work with. Excede epitomizes the phrase "Getting It Done". Top notch basement finish
Curt and Alma worked tirelessly with us to come up with a plan to finish our basement. The final plan was not only immediately functional (BR, BA, large play area for the kids, media room for the adults, tons of built-in bookshelves, storage) but also future-proofed with electrical and utility outlets pre-installed for a bar when the time is appropriate. Joel executed the design making sure everything was on time and done to our satisfaction. Every single contractor that came in knew their trade; additionally, they were all extremely pleasant to interact with. This is one outstanding team that delivers!
Pros:Professional, Knowledgeable, Pleasant, Patient, Creative, Get-it-done folks.
Cons:Higher on the price scale but they deliver.

Excede Construction-Basement Finish
We contracted with Excede to finish our basement before we moved into the home from out of state. Naturally, you are concerned with all the things that could go wrong when you are 700 miles away. We also took one of Alma's designs and made significant revisions to it, another source of concern. What we found was a management team and Company that performed extremely well, kept us informed, made changes as we requested and overall did an excellent job. We couldn't be happier with the quality and the way they approached the project. We had a few fixes at the end and they were taken care of immediately. They are not the least cost provider, however the quality couldn't be any higher.
Pros:High quality, willing to work through changes, great follow-up and updates as work progresses. Met their completion date. Keeps you informed of costs

Excede Construction
Top flight people and company. We did not lose a minute's sleep working with Kurt, Alma and Joel. All of the subcontractors were also first rate. The finishing of our basement was completed in 11 weeks, as promised at the start. Kurt and Alma requested confirmation that we were fully satisfied before accepting final payment.
Pros:Very thorough and very professional company--from the owners through the subcontractors. Project delivered complete and on time.
Cons:No problems at any stage that were not immediately addressed and resolved to our satisfaction. All calls promptly returned.

ExCede Construction does just that!!!
ExCede exceeded all of our expectations for quality, timeliness, followup and price. We have contracted numerous remodels and other major projects over the years. ExCede provided overall our best experience, by far. I generally don't give "5's" to anyone, but ExCede clearly deserves this rating for the extensive basement remodeling project they did for us.

Totally satisfied with the work and association with this organization!!! Our project manager, Joel, was top notch and very responsive to our needs even changes during the construction period. His ability to orchestrate the completion of our basement was met with very little downtime as we witnessed one facet of a task being completed and an immediate start of the next. Our basement was completed in record time with little to NO need for rework. Top notch effort!!!

Excede Construction Basement Finishing
Excede Construction exceded our expectations overall on all phases through completion. Pleasure to work with, great follow-up and made sure we were completely satisfied. Many of our neighbors on seeing our completed basement contracted with Execede also. The team of Curt, Alma and Tim made us feel comfortable throughout the project.
Pros:Very good value for the money spent. We will recommend them and would use them again on any home improvement project.
Cons:None. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive either.

Excede Construction
On time, on budget, intelligent design. zero punch list, and two years later, still in excellent condition. They built out our basement, finishing 1500 of the 2100 square feet. They added numerous electrical outlets and art lights upstairs as well as under counter lights. We have had their electrician back to add more lights. We get nothing but compliments on our basement and it gets lots of use as our gtrandson's hockey team lives here when in Denver. It works well, it looks great, and we are still very pleased with the work, price, and the fun working relationship with Excede Construction/
Pros:Excede Construction, Curt and Alma, know what works well in all areas especially in basement build out. Their design ideas were really helpful and they worked with us on our design goals. I worked in commercial real estate for 35 years and Excede Construction is one of the best companies I ever dealt with, I give them my highest personal and professional recommendation/

Curt and his team are first rate contractors. I found them to be very helpful in the design phase and very responsive to issues during and after completion. I do not hesitate to recommend ExCede to anyone looking for a professional contractor.
Pros:Would like to have had more feedback re: a second furnace in the basement.

We contracted with Excede to finish our 850 SF basement. Three finshed (3) rooms and wet bar.
Pros:CREATIVE/INNOVATIVE PLANS,QUALITY/ONTIME CONSTRUCTION, AND ADVANCE COMMUNICATION.

Amazing Finished Basement!
We are so thrilled with our finished basement completed by Excede Construction! They are an amazing team! We had a difficult basement layout, but they presented us with several creative designs that we loved and maximized our space. The finishes in the basement are the same as the upstairs so it is a great flow.....you would think the basement was built-out with the rest of the house.
Pros:*All subcontractors (framers, plumbers, carpenters, HVAC) were so talented and polite. *The Excede Team kept us informed of all the upcoming activities...there were never any surprises. *The worksite was clean. They used a 'dust flap' over the door that kept most of the dust and dirt to the workarea....which was fantastic since we have an infant roaming upstairs. * A cleaning/maid service same several times to clean the basement prior to the project being finalized. * The design was so creative! Curt and Alma used their combined talent to recommend flipping the furnace, stylishly covering 2 sump pumps, building great storage space, etc.

Great Work, High Level of Professionalism
Curt Winn provides a highest level of professionalism in a contractor I have ever encountered. When he couldn't find the shelving I wanted for my wine cellar, he refunded 200% of my money I had prepaid for this item. Wow...see how many times you can find a contractor to do that?!!!

Basement Buildout
Excede may not give the lowest bid, but they will provide the best value proposition. Curt's a Stanford engineering grad and his wife Alma might even be smarter then he. The super Tim knows every trade and has great craftsmen working for him. The job came in on time, without any problems. Great folks to work with.
Pros:Very knowledgeable, experienced, high integrity great staff.
Cons:Curt may be voting for McCain
