Several months ago, we had our kitchen redone by JLV Home Improvement (303-517-0439). I had to write a review because from start to finish our experience was first rate. We had no problems or issues and we have a wonderful, beautiful new kitchen. The only question I had during the redo was why did we wait so long to do it? I took before and after pictures and Jim and Dan have their smiling faces on, which are the real deal. Our initial meeting with Jim and then his referral to the kitchen store to pick out what we wanted went so smooth. We couldn't have asked for nicer, competent, honest guys to work with. We ordered quartz counters because of Jim's recommendation and we couldn't be happier with it. When the counters and sink arrived they fit like a glove. The guys that did the measuring were exact and put them in with no issues. The cabinets were put in by Jim and Dan, masters at their craft. The cabinet handles did the trick, as opposed to no handles at all. Jim and Dan know what they are doing and they do it expertly. I cannot recommend anyone more highly than these guys for your remodeling, kitchen and bath needs, interior trim, doors, painting, texturing, drywall repair. JLV Home Improvement is licensed and insured. Jim will also do a free estimate before he proceeds so you know what to expect. Because my husband and I were working at the time, we just gave Jim our house key and they were able to come and go as needed. We absolutely trusted them and had no problem whatsover.

We needed cabinets, countertop, lighting upgrade, wall removal, and exterior window resizing. Jim did not just ”bid on the work”. Jim and Dan have done three major remodeling jobs for us, and we hope to be able to use them again for our master bathroom job. They are careful, responsive, and talented workmen, and you can rely on them to do the job just as you would like. We give them the keys to our home when they are working here ! They have done a sunroom/wet bar remodel for us that is stunning, as well as a complete basement remodel. They also provided a faux finish painter for our kitchen, who was an artist as well as a professional.

Jim and Dan replaced all of our windows and two sliding glass doors. Their workmanship was what you would expect from a first class professional. Minimal dust and clutter was experienced, they covered the floor and furniture that was near the windows they installed, and cleaned the area at the end of each day before they left. They were on time every day and completed the project when promised. Was pleased with the windows and doors they were able to get at a very good price. The first job included a complete kitchen remodel, demo and replacement of all carpet, patch, texture, and paint all ceilings and walls throughout the interior of the house, fix damage to wood trim (sofit, facia) and paint the exterior of house. The second job included patching several holes created for access to the main water line for a new sprinkler system that I had installed at my parents house for a father’s day gift. The third job included a complete kitchen and bath remodel on a investment property that I purchased for a rental. I had a house that was a series of add-on rooms. Dull, dark and boxed in. It also had some cracks in the ceiling of the family room. I hired Jim to fix the cracks, texture the walls, and paint. While Jim was there he made some suggestions how to open things up so the rooms were more open and flowing. So I hired him to do that. He remodeled and made some of the walls into partial walls which gave viewing access to the living room and the family room from the kitchen. Then he textured the rest of the walls to match the first room and of course we painted. He really helped me with color selection. All that relatively minor remodeling really did open things up and make the house warm and comfortable. Then we remodeled the office. Again, some minor items and it transformed into a very professional office. When I sold my house I got lots of positive feedback about the how open it was and how the natural light flowed throughout the main part of the house. Jim was very professional and quick and was truly a great help to me at an affordable price. I'll hire him again.

He installed a washer and dryer in our existing hall closet on the main level of our house. I could not have been more pleased with the clean and timely installation. The price was fair.
