Worst paint job ever
I first became a customer of this shop when I was hit by another driver on my passenger side of my truck. The first impression was great Matt gave me an estimate for repairs and it seemed a little high but I chose it above the rest because of the reviews and comments about the shop. Sadly this is where it turned to the worse, Matt was let go for reasons unknown, I came in to drop off the truck and I reviewed the repairs with the new advisor. After about a week and a half the truck was ready to pick up, a new advisor Jason was now in charge of my truck. I was told by Jason the truck was ready to pick up, so I headed right over, I met with Jason and was told the truck would be right out they noticed it was a little dirty and wanted to clean it up, an hour and a half goes by and come to find out the door wasn't even on my truck when I got there, so I sat waiting for my truck to be "cleaned" and it finally shows up. I go out to my truck to find a guy jump starting my truck, seems I was told the door was off the truck and the battery needed a good charge, assured by Jason that after driving a few miles it should be fine. I get into the truck to find a nice white dust all over the truck and having to pick my wife up from work I was kind of in a hurry, so I let it slide, my truck started to run weird the truck was idling at 500rpms and struggling to stay running, so I called the shop. They had me return the truck to fix the problem and investigate, I was left without a rental car for a week, costing me work and the ability to perform my daily tasks. My truck was finally returned to me and I was told by Jason my battery was old and I needed to replace it. I accepted it and just bought a battery even though it was running fine when dropped off for repairs. I noticed that the emblems were not on my truck and that there was some defects in the paint, I addressed this with Jason and was told "I was supposed to put them on" lol first of all I am paying you to repair my truck why would I install my own emblems? But then was told later that it's because they were plasti dipped that I was supposed to plasti dip the new ones (new ones were never supplied but were billed to the insurance company). There are about 7 total excuses that circulate the blame about the emblems. Jason said he would get the truck in and get it fixed after getting approval from the owner. Two weeks later nothing Jason broke his phone 3 times during all of this and that was his excuse as to why I wasn't being contacted, I'm pretty sure my phone number is on file and they have land lines there?? Jason likes to point out that he was a fellow marine and we look out for each other, however he failed me misserably, we may be brothers in the corps but I retain my integrity. Tired of all the bs excuses I called and talked to Eddie the shop manager, I came in to address the repairs, pointed them all out and was told they would contact the insurance company to get a repair approval and contact me in a week, I explained how Jason basically failed to communicate and dropped the ball completely and told them above all else I value communication, I was assured I would hear from them within a week. Fast forward two weeks and I am calling again, and was told they overlooked the situation and haven't heard back from the insurance company, at this point I felt like I was ignored and neglected, so I asked to talk to the owner or someone higher up. I spoke with Erik the general manager he assured me that he would resolve all issues and fix the problem to give them one more chance, so I agreed. Today I picked up the Tundra after 2 months of back n fourth and I still have dirt in the paint. I got told by Eddie that the dirt wasn't the main concern, but it's their paint!!!! Yet earlier when I addressed them with him he said it would be fixed. Sadly I'll never go to this place again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. They go thru employees like a plague, I have no idea why but get told they were the fault of the reasons my truck wasn't fixed right.
3/4/2016 - I went in for an estimate to paint and clear coat the bumper on my Subie. They determined it was not necessary and applied paint to the spots. I them saving me money and time for the work that appears to have been unnecessary.

They delivered as promised and paid exactly as quoted. Great service and even got a follow up call from Tim. I will use them again.
As a fleet manager, I deal with many vendors daily and my experience with Colorado Auto Body was great! They were proactive in scheduling and worked on getting parts as quick as possible so I could use my fleet vehicle quickly.
Excellent in all respects
My VW Jetta TDI was hit twice during the past six months and my wife's BMW once (none of which were our fault). The service, and the interface between us and Colorado Auto Body, Ken Martinez, were terrific. Ken got back to us numerous times throughout the course of the repair. They picked up and returned the car to our house in each case. They are gems and I don't give this rating very often. (I frequently review scientific articles and so have a lot of experience with reviews).
All things considered, two holidays,big Broncos game & freezing cold service was great. Completion date was not over promised. Called every two days or so to let us know what was going on.Picked up car it looked great. Later on noticed the door was popping. Called Ken set a time to bring it in. Went to shop they fixed it while I waited 40 min. The Tech was great. So I"m a happy customer.

Excellent Service All Around
I recently had my car repaired after being rear-ended. I was referred to Colorado Auto Body by one of my customers. From day one, Mr. James and his team were extremely professional and so friendly. I immediately knew I had made the right decision. From the very beginning to the day I drove away with my repaired vehicle, I was treated with utmost respect, always kept in the loop as far as my repair status and just treated like one of the family. Colorado Auto Body was quick to diagnose the problem and identify/ obtain the parts needed to complete the repair--all in a very cost-effective manner. They were professional, courteous, and very timely in completing the task. I would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend or bring my car back to them for a different problem if necessary (and hopefully it won't be).

This is my second time at Colorado Auto Body. They always make you feel welcomed. The first time I went to have my car repaired, being a women I am never sure how I will be received. They are fair,honest,polite and go the extra to show that they appreciate your business. I would never use any other body shop.

I've used Colorado auto body several times now, this was the most extensive. thousands of dollars in damage to my car, and they put it back to new condition. i was concerned with paint quality. too many places can't paint well because of their facilities. you get the orange peel effect. not with colorado auto body. it looks factory right down to the clear coat. others that complain about OEM vs after market, that's a fight with your insurance company, if you're footing the bill, CAB will do all the work that you want, and show you how to modify the bill as needed to fit your wallet. one pet peeve... they offered shuttle to work, home or rental car, i chose home. I live over 10 miles from the business, but they said they could do it. they did give me a ride, but in my own car! had i known that, I would have arranged other accommodations. let us know there is a limited shuttle radius....[just a pet peeve, not a deal breaker!] and those that complain about repair time is too long, it's like any business, sometimes they're too busy, and other times the wait line is short. just roll with it. bottom line, you get what you pay for. quality is value, you can go to those places, that look like the back of your garage, and know bondo, and watch the paint peel as you drive away, or use a certified repair shop. for me it's Colorado auto body.
I have used Colorado Auto body twice in 5 years and I can recommend their work. I was seriously shocked at the estimate sent to my insurance company though and I doubt I would have used them without insurance coverage. Customer service was great though!

Colorado Auto Body repaired a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT that had slid on ice, jumped a curb and flattened a CenturyLink cable box. They did an excellent job on the repair, but could have communicated more during the three weeks that the car was out of action. In particular, I would have appreciated more information to manage my expectations of how long the repair would take.

Very nice work, very fast repair.
23 May 2011 I lent my car to a family member who ultimately ended up removing the front end (not on purpose). Needing to get it fixed quickly, I contacted CAB and they sent an estimator to my work in Centennial. I took it in two days later, and was told the repair would take 5 days. I had my car back exactly 5 days later, looking better than before, and they even came in UNDER the estimate price. That just doesn't happen in this business. Bravo! ·

From the first call I made to Colorado Auto Body I was impressed with how friendly and eager to help everyone was. I was having trouble getting my car to their shop due to my work schedule so they offered to come get my car from me and even brought it back to me when the repairs were finished. The entire process was completely painless. Matt kept me informed and finished my car when he said he would. Great experience.
unfortunately, I was involved in a collision with another vehicle (I rear-ended his car when he stopped abruptly). although his car was not seriously damaged, mine sustained significant damage to the front. I took the car to Colorado Auto Body and within 5 minutes Tim gave me a very reasonable estimate. I took the car to two other places and it took much longer and the estimates were higher and significantly higher. I called Tim and he arranged to pick up my car for free. he also arranged a rental car for me with Enterprise and they came directly to my house to pick me up. A couple of days later I went in to colorado Auto Body and Tim went over the estimate in detail and explained the whole repair process to me in detail. he also explained the options I had for repair parts (original equipment parts at the highest price, aftermarket parts at a lower price or rebuilt parts at the lowest price). He explained which type of part he recommended for each part that I needed and why he was recommending what he was. I went with his recommendations and I got the car back in about 4 days. It was absolutely awesome!!! Despite the damage I had, I could not see any place where there was evidence of any damage. Even the paint was blended and I could not tell where the damaged part had been and where the original paint was still on the undamaged area! It was nothing short of amazing! I will never use any other shop to fix my car again after I saw the quality, cost and speed with which Colorado Auto Body repaired my car. They went to bat for me with my insurance company to make sure my car was fixed properly. They explained the entire process for me. They even personally delivered my car to my house and it took much less time (only 5 days) than originally estimated (8 days). I commend them on their professionalism and their undetectable repairs.
December 05, 2008 Unfortunately, I had a car accident about three weeks ago. Considering I recently moved here from Los Angeles, I am unfamiliar with the first-rate Auto Body shops in Denver. I searched the internet for Auto Body Repair shops that are referred by reputable lists and the first Auto Body Repair shop on the list was Colorado Auto Body. I called immediately. They offered to come pick me up, offer me a tow, arrange for a rental car in a prompt manner and a free estimate. I felt very comfortable with the entire process and was reassured that my car was in good hands. They called me within a few days to give me an update on the parts that were required to complete the repair process. Within less than one week, they called me to inform me that my car was completed! Although Colorado Auto Body offered to deliver my car to me at no extra charge, I wanted to return to their shop to pick up my car. I was elated to discover that they found the best possible deal on the part that was needed to complete my car. Also, the original estimate matched the final cost of repair. Not only was the price reasonable, Colorado Auto Body offered me a warranty for years to come. I have never taken the time to write a review online and words cannot even begin to express the class of service I received at Colorado Auto Body. However, I strongly feel that Colorado Auto Body's customer service, professionalism, reasonable price and incomparable quality of auto repair deserve a review at the very least. I took the car to Colorado Auto Body and within 5 minutes Tim gave me a very reasonable estimate. I took the car to two other places and it took much longer and the estimates were higher and significantly higher. I called Tim and he arranged to pick up my car for free. he also arranged a rental car for me with Enterprise and they came directly to my house to pick me up. A couple of days later I went in to colorado Auto Body and Tim went over the estimate in detail and explained the whole repair process to me in detail. he also explained the options I had for repair parts (original equipment parts at the highest price, aftermarket parts at a lower price or rebuilt parts at the lowest price). He explained which type of part he recommended for each part that I needed and why he was recommending what he was. I went with his recommendations and I got the car back in about 4 days. It was absolutely awesome!!! Despite the damage I had, I could not see any place where there was evidence of any damage. Even the paint was blended and I could not tell where the damaged part had been and where the original paint was still on the undamaged area! It was nothing short of amazing! I will never use any other shop to fix my car again after I saw the quality, cost and speed with which Colorado Auto Body repaired my car. I would recommend them to anyone who needs collision repairs! Considering I recently moved here from Los Angeles, I am unfamiliar with the first-rate Auto Body shops in Denver. I searched the internet for Auto Body Repair shops that are referred by reputable lists and the first Auto Body Repair shop on the list was Colorado Auto Body. I called immediately. They offered to come pick me up, offer me a tow, arrange for a rental car in a prompt manner and a free estimate. I felt very comfortable with the entire process and was reassured that my car was in good hands. They called me within a few days to give me an update on the parts that were required to complete the repair process. Within less than one week, they called me to inform me that my car was completed! Although Colorado Auto Body offered to deliver my car to me at no extra charge, I wanted to return to their shop to pick up my car. I was elated to discover that they found the best possible deal on the part that was needed to complete my car. Also, the original estimate matched the final cost of repair. Not only was the price reasonable, Colorado Auto Body offered me a warranty for years to come. I have never taken the time to write a review online and words cannot even begin to express the class of service I received at Colorado Auto Body. However, I strongly feel that Colorado Auto Body's customer service, professionalism, reasonable price and incomparable quality of auto repair deserve a review at the very least.
