Great Company On Time and Very Professional
The Vergis Construction crew recently finished our garage. They were on time and under budget. The new drywall, cabinets and epoxy floor made our old dirty garage into our new "hang out" place. John and the rest of the crew were a pleasure to work with, we will be using them again shortly on our basement finish.

Thanks John and team for your professional work
During the course of this years hail and heavy winds our roof began to leak inside of our home. I called John to see if he could make a quick fix that would stop the damage to our interior. John quickly came over climbed up a ladder and came directly back down, he knew instantly that we had hail and wind damage and informed me to contact our insurance company. Long story short we ended up with a large and very complex claim because of the differant types of damage. My wife and I are new to the area and really do not know or feel comfortable looking for contractors via the phone book. Needless to say John took control of the entire project and saw it to the end. I can without reservation report that every one of the differant types work performed on our home were above our expectationa and below our budgeted amount. We have many thanks to John and he made a very confussing and frusstrating process very easy. Thanks John

Vergis Construction did a very professional job fo
Vergis Construction did some water repair for us. Once I contacted John, he was over with in a week time. He sent over a roofer to look to see what damage we had since our insurance company adjuster would not get on our roofer. Allstate made their determination of damage only looking at our garage and shed. We had water damage to the drywall in the kitchen. John sent his drywall expert Ron who did an awesome job. All of the workers that John sent out to do the work were very professional and turn the job around in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Vergis Construction.

John Vergis gives back meaning to the world customer service. This guy is as real as it gets, I can see why he is so loved not only in his industry, but by everyone who meets him. We had contacted John and his team after a truly awful experience with a roofer who took us for a ride. It was a mess. I called John and within a matter of weeks I had an estimate, a contract, approval from my insurance company, and actual humans on my property doing the work - with John right along side them. Great craftsmanship, great price
I contacted John Vergis, Vergis Construction, via email after discovering that some of the siding on the back of my house was rotting away. John called me back in a matter of hours and promptly setup up a time to stop by and take a look at the problem. He showing up right on time and explained exactly what was causing the problem and how he planned to fix it. Even though this was a very small job, he gave it his full attention and told me exactly how he planned to fix it and when. My wife and I were so happy to come home from work on the scheduled day to find that all of the work was completed and cleaned up. We were so impressed with how John handled this small job, we had him come back 2 weeks later a build us a deck, and we couldn't be happier. This deck is so solidly built, you could land a helicopter on it. John exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend John to anyone looking for any sized job. Thanks John!

Twelve Transom Windows, A truly painless experi
John Vergis Construction, replacing 12 Transom windows with Low E Tempered Glass. 17JUN09 I contacted John Vergis to schedule an appointment for an estimate on replacing 2 Transom windows on our Sun Patio. The day after the appointment, Mr. Vergis called with a verbal estimate which was a fair, honest price. We agreed on a two day install about 8 days away. One day for the job, and one day for unexpected events. Tues/Wed 16-17JUN. He then Emailed me the contract so I could see it before he dropped by to pick up the deposit. As luck would have it, the "Swirling Thunderstorms" blew thru town. He called to say he wanted to set my start date back a day to 17&18 June, as he had many customers who needed emergency repair work after the storms. He felt mine was a one day job, and knew I needed it to be done by Thursday, the 18th at the latest. On the 17th he showed up at 0730 to re-measure everything, and to set up for the work to begin. He had the help of two of his assistants who showed up at 0745. They were totally professional, and just got to work. Not only did they finish the removing and replacing the 12 windows by lunch hour, they had the place cleaned up and lookling as if no one had even been there. I cannot say enough about the trust I have in Vergis Construction. If I ever have anything to do that I feel I cannot handle, I will call them first, as they were truly impressive.

Timeliness was outstanding: showed up a little early for the estimate, and then a little early to get the job started. Once they began, they worked hard until finished. Drywall & Texture Fast...
Getting ready for house guests, I short window of time to get a roughed in bathroom and basement bedroom rocked and textured. I also didn't have the time to take from work and sit there for 4 days while the contractor came over for a few hours a day, then left for another job... stretching my job out twice or 3 times as long. John sent his drywall expert over to provide a quote. The next weekend, the drywall was hung, taped & textured in two days. What made the difference was they stayed for full work days and didn't juggle me with 10 other jobs like other contractors do. In 2 days the job was done... not in 2 months!
Pros:Very fair in pricing. Respectful crew. They didn't curse like sailors. Actually, one of the crew (Chris) always ended his sentences with a respectful "yes Sir". Pro's... They Got in... Got it Done...Got out! Perfect.

SAVIORS!!!!!!!!
We experienced a water leak in our basement while we were on vacation. The entire basement was in ruins. We had no idea who to turn to. After speaking with our Insurance carrier we were informed it could take up to three days for an adjuster to be assigned to us. We turned to the TroubleShooter and found Vergis Construction. They responded to us immediately. To avoid the possibility of mold or mildew growth, they expedited the drying / demolition process that same night. At this point it was like hitting cruise control, the Professionals at Vergis Construction took care of everything for us from that point on. Contacted the Insurance Adjuster, Scheduled Meeting times, Confirmed the Scope of work with the Adjuster, & Ran a very tight and clean schedule. All we were responsible for was making the material / color selections and paying our deductible. When it was all said and done, our home was put back together within one month and the quality of workmanship was impeccable. Without Joe, John, Noah, and the rest of the crew at Vergis Construction, we would have been completely lost. Thank you for everything and you will be our first call should we need assistance with anything in our home.

Awesome Company
We hired Vergis construction for drywall repair and a composite deck. We had some major cracks from the house settling over the years. Expert repair work! John Vergis designed our deck and gave us several suggestions on how to use composite combined with other materials to save us money. The deck is beautiful! Vergis contruction comes highly recommended. We would definately use them again in the future.

Great Crew, Great Work,Great Attitude, Great Price
John and his crew came out to rebuild my fence after the winds finally knocked down the old, rotted posts. They gave me a very fair price, kept in good communication with me and always showed up ready for work exactly when I expected them. The work looks as nice as anything else in the neighborhood, and I'm hoping some of my neighbors will see the quality work they did and decide to hire Vergis as well. A pleasure to work with, charged me exactly for the work I asked for, and even helped me get ideas for the remodeling I have planned in the future. I would not hesitate to hire the Vergis crew again, and I happily recommend them to anyone in the south metro area.

Fixed and Better Than New
We had major damage as a result of pipes bursting while we were out of town. After all of the plumbing work was completed and everything was dry, I called John for drywall repairs. He showed up promptly the next day, gave me a very fair price, and then proceeded to do an excellent and timely job at the quoted amount. The last thing to do was warped wood flooring repair. A lot of folks would have told me to replace it all, but John did a fantastic job restoring the floor - it looks better than when we bought the place.

I was doing a fix and flip for a Realtor. I called John for a quote and time line on scheduling. John sent me the quote and tentative schedule that same day via email. The price was great,the schedule was met, the work was fantastic. Nobody better

Plaster texture

Deck Repair
I called John regarding a deck that was sinking as a result of a collapsing support beam. He came out the next day and gave me a quote, called the following day to schedule the repair when I asked if there was a way to create a temporary support system to allow me to get through the winter and plan financially for the full repair in the spring. Without hesitation his said "yes"! He did not try to sell me the need to complete the full repair now, he completely understood my financially concerns and came the next day to do the lesser repair.
Pros:I was amazed with his compassion, his work ethic and dedication to getting the job done. Despite how small it was. Without hesitation I will call him this spring to finish the done!

Remodeling
Needed a lot of work done on a foreclosure I bought. Some of the stuff needed a creative approach. These guys were able to think outside of the box without trying to gouge me on a complete rebuild as other companies tried to do. The end product looks awesome.

Rebuild deck structure
Vergis Construction rebuilt the deck support structure and reused the trex material on the top. I was fortunate to get a cancelled spot and the deck was started within 2 days. The quality and skills of the people working with John Vergis are very qualified and professional. The work was done within 2 days. The job was done on time and on budget. John is very professional - supplies a bid, references and insurance - all without asking. His references were very pleased with Vergis Construction.
