DO NOT HIRE! Warning. CHECK REVIEWS FROM OTHER SOUCES! Save yourself long read and just trust this stranger , these guys will rob you for your time and money. OTHER REVIEWERS Had said the same ...They do SUB PAR work at inflated prices. They must spend all their money on marketing and zero on staff training/quality control. These guys will OVER CHARGE and not get job done, waste of time and money. Context: I had hired them in early 2019 for electrical East electrical job... but they overcharged like $522 for Fix relay outlets And change outlet on my personal home. . One of my rental properties had a shower leak so under my business entity I purchased the $180 family plan for free diagnostics /waive trip fees and to receive 10-15% off of work. And had the guy come out... again job done but was a RIP OFF price of like $400 plus. After supposedly waiving trip fee Waste of money rite ? “Joining the family” would be a great deal if their pricing for electrical and plumbing work wasn’t almost 50% more then Competitors . (Did not know that until too late) I had them Work on 5–6 occasions (1 electrical 4-5 plumbing) between 3 properties . I had two rentals and one personal home. Now to the real DRAMA I had clogged sewer on March 8th. I had to get an emergency visit because it was 5pm . Charge 450 for them to unclog toilet (that’s with my “family “ discount ) took the guy 2 hrs to show up .what kind of emergency service time is that ? I’m centrally located... 4 hrs of work later the toilet flushes with out backing up ... 10 hrs later it backs up again... Too bad they didn’t do the job correctly and had to come back ouT the next day . After i had to give them hell on the phone to stand behind their work .... Sorry renters that had No bathroom for two days... In the following weeks I called 2 new plumbers/sewer repair contractors come out to scope line with camera and provide em quotes. Of course I wanted to give blue sky a chance to compete since you Know “were family “ i had one of their like right out of trade school money hungry estimators come out and he tried to charge me $250 to scope the line... keep in mind I already had another company scope 3 days before and I clearly , explained the points of root entry... I had two contractors do his Exact job before him so I literally spelled it out for him what I needed. Of course he never gave me quote because I would let them scope line / charge me. Fast forward to April 14 or something I have this Money hungry estimator come out again excuse i told him, I want a written quote , you never gave me one before . I want to cancel some Airbnb reservations and show Airbnb I have a sewer that needs repair . And again I’m part of the family . So write me a quote money hungry estimator... well he said will do ! 6 days later no quote no call, hmmm weird , what’s waste of time ... so I reach out ./. Managers have No idea why he never Gave quote... two days later I get a call with a whack explanation , how it take two full business days for a two minute convo , i don’t know . They are slow and get paid hourly .... Well , their estimator told manager i told him i already got cheaper verbal quotes From two contractors so why waste time Writing my quote , even though I paid $180 just to have them come out and “estimate , evaluate , QUOTE” which most companies do for free ... I’m like .... you guys are the biggest waste of time ever I’m writing a horrible review , so here I am ... writing honest review of my horrible experience . On every review board possible .

Management has spoken with Mateo about his concerns and has refunded him for the family plan he paid for. In March, we were called out for a backed up main sewer line. Our technician ran the line multiple times and pulled out roots each time. If you look at the invoice that is pictured in the review, you will see what work was done and that no warranty was provided due to the issues with the drain line. However, we returned and cabled the line again for free. Mateo called our estimator out a couple months after the drain cleaning was performed requesting us to provide a free estimate to replace his sewer line and also supply him with a write up that the sewer line was causing a hazardous situation so he could provide it to AIRBNB in order to get out of a contract. In order to provide an estimate to replace a sewer line, the line has to be scoped and located. There is a charge for this which the customer did not want to pay. He was pretty specific in telling our estimator that he had no intention on using us for the work but was needing this information to supply AIRBNB. We cannot provide and estimate on a sewer line replacement without a proper camera and locate so we respectfully declined. We are happy to discuss your concerns further Mateo if you’d like to contact the office. We are sorry that you feel that we were unaccommodating and wish you the best.

Great Service

To the Staff at Blue Sky, I just want to thank you for great service from my first telephone call to the service completion yesterday. Steel was very cooperative with setting up the appointment and acknowledging my concerns about getting a service agent that was experienced in older boiler systems. The technician that made the service call to my home, Brian Wingett, was professional, knowledgeable and efficient. He did spend the time and effort to diagnose the boiler and radiators to find out what really was the problems with the system. He also correctly diagnosed the issue I had with the water heater. He made all appropriate repairs to address those problems. Now I have a good understanding of how best to take care of the system and what may be needed in the future. All of my radiators are heating properly and a problem with source water through blocked pipes was corrected. This entire experience renewed my faith in the pride of workmanship and ethical work. Thank you all for your service. I look forward to using Blue Sky for all plumbing needs up to replacement when the time comes. And a special thank you to Bryan W. I started his service call by announcing how anxious I was about having the system serviced and he very politely and methodically dispelled that with the workmanship and professional attitude. Don't ever call this business! My boiler went out and we knew exactly what was wrong with it (from the propane company). They proceeded to charge me $200 to tell me what was wrong with it, again we already knew. The service technician had a terrible attitude and it was obvious that he did not feel like doing the work. They left my pregnant wife and 2 toddlers without heat and hot water and said that they could be back to fix it 5 days later. I called to complain and the office had no compassion what so ever to reduce the charge or get a tech there to fix the problem any earlier. I wouldn't recommend these guys to my worst enemy. Upon sharing my experience with people I know and other contractors the feed back I got was other people had similar experiences and their prices were through the roof.

On February 24th, I woke up to an ice cold house! My next action was to call Blue Sky and lucky for me they were able to fit me in right away. I’m sure the technician Doug wouldn’t consider himself a “knight in shining armor” but when he showed up (on time no less!) and rescued me from the cold I was extremely happy. The big plus was the part we all hate, the bill! I considered the rates very fair and will definitely refer them to my insurance clients. Thanks for the great service!

Honest, dependable, great service, good company

I have used Blue Sky Plumbing and Heating for the last 17 years. I continually use their services because of their superior experience and customer service. For example, my furnace went out during a blizzard one year. They not only sent someone out to fix it but the employee took the time to show me what was wrong and how I could fix it in the future. Recently, I called asking for help with a leak in my basement. They were prompt, courteous, and fixed the problem the first time. I would highly recommend Blue Sky. Pros:Fix the job right the first time, honest, dependable, nice people.

Service when you need it

Blue Sky Plumbing was courteous and timely when helping me with my outdoor floor drain that was overflowing. I called late at night and they had someone out the very next morning to fix it. It was actually more than just the drain clog it was actually a sump pump issue, and another friendly and courteous technician came out to fix it. The service was done efficiently and reasonably priced.

I can’t tell you how happy I was with the service and the plumber Bill. The price was much more reasonable than what I was used to in a house that has more than its share of plumbing problems.
