Right away, I was impressed by Ken's knowledge. He knew exactly what to check, made his diagnosis, and had the parts in his van to fix the water heater right then and there. I had tried two other plumbers in the past, and no one was able to fix it, but ken was. He is my new first call plumber!

I proactively replaced my 100 year old lead water main pipe from water meter to house. Because it was proactive, I was able to take my time to interview several contractors. I found Master to be the most knowledgeable, and knew enough to warn of what complications could arise when replacing lead. The other guys seemed to think it would be as easy as replacing a galvanized pipe. I watched them work, and they did their best but encountered the feared complications with pulling out the weak lead pipe. They had to excavate an additional part of the yard. If you have lead, be sure to hire on experience not as much price. It can get complicated.

My water heater went out the night before my visitors were due to arrive. I've never had that happen before so I didn't know what to do and then I remembered to contact Service Magic which I've used before. I got a few quotes and chose Master Rooter based on talking to him on the phone. Joseph did the work and did a great job in a timely fashion. I also had another water leak and asked him for a quote to fix it. He told me $150 and I agreed to that. Later when he had a chance to look at it, he said it had just come loose and didn't really need any fixing other than that. I was very pleased with the whole job.

Tom and Tony were here within the hour, told me up front the process for diagnosing the problem they would use, and while they prepared to diagnose I called another company to see if they would use the same process of diagnosing our leak and the answer was basically yes. They fixed the problem and didn't seem irritated by my initial skepticism but instead undertook some extra small checks on peripheral items sharing tips and maintenance thoughts. Cured a water pressure problem we had in the kitchen, and won a skeptic over. Sound work, professional, and positive, with transparency. Worth the price and saved time and trips to do it myself.
