Friday and Saturday I contacted two plumbing contractors on Tom Martino’s Referral List. The first: Patriot Pros gave me an estimate of nearly $1,200 (this included an absurd $400 coupon) dollars to clear a simple kitchen drain line which I declined. The second company , Master Rooter LLC diagnosed the same situation and gave me an estimate of $185. When I presented this to the the on-air Troubleshooter program today with all the documentation they were defensive and dismissive, the response was basically: “It’s up to you to check these contractors out”. So much for the Referral List. Won't recommend nor use them again, too EXPENSIVE.

Buyer Beware
Exorbitant price quotes. Shady sales tactics. If you do have them come out. PLEASE be sure to get a second quote.

Extremely poor service. Had an appointment on June 21 which was rescheduled due to the technician having vehicle issues in the rain. Rescheduled for June 28 which was rescheduled because someone had an emergency and needed a new air conditioner. Rescheduled for July 1 and when I called as no one had called to let me know when they would arrive they wanted to reschedule me again because someone else had an emergency and needed a new air conditioner. Made me feel like I didn't matter at all so I gave up and cancelled. Unless you are buying something new don't bother. They only have priority for new systems.

Thanks Javiar, They came out and tested our wall furnace, for carbon monoxide, and then gave us the information to fix it ourselves. And then wouldn't take the service call fee , we agreed to pay. thanks we have your number handy.

Professional, competent, service oriented
We have never been as impressed with a company as this one. We were having some problems with our water heater and furnace for some time. I went to the Tom Martino site and decided to call Patriot Enterprises as they were located in Castle Rock, where we live. Living in a 12- year old home, we knew that it was time to replace several of the inner workings of our home. There was no pressure on us at any time to replace anything that we had. However, we decided to replace our water heater, furnace, humidifier, add a water softner, and air-conditioner. The installations were all accomplished Thankgiving week in 1-1/2 days, and started the day after we contracted with them. Everyone involved in this massive overhaul was professional, courteous, helpful with our questions, knowledgeable and clean. We could not have asked for more. Every winter, we have turned on our fireplace as our home never seemed very warm. We have not had to turn it on since we got our new hydronic furnace. We feel like we have a new home! Everything that was installed is working perfectly, and we are totally satisfied. This is the first testimonial I have ever written. It is a privilege to write this one.

Professional - Trustworthy
I had a fairly simple basement drain clog back in Jun 11. I could have found someone in in my local area (Colorado Springs) but I wanted to have peace of mind that I would receive top notch service and not be up-sold on a problem I didn't have. Or have an issue where the repair would cause additional problems and also have a proponent (Tom Martino) in my corner should an unresolved issue arise. Trusting the Referrallist members, I found Patriot on the list who does service the CO. Springs area. Kevin, the service tech, was courteous, knowledgeable and got the problem fixed. Thanks Patriot!

Wonderful Home Service
My wife had lost an important lapel pin down the sink drain.We had received it because my son who was active duty in the military.had passed away last month. It wasn't worth much but it meant allot to us. I tried to remove the p-trap but all I seem to do was cause the drain to leak and still couldn't get the drain off. Javier came out the next day after fitting us into his busy schedule. He removed the drain without finding the pin. He went above and beyond trying to fine it but now luck! While he was in the basement he noticed that water was leaking around the hole where the well supply line goes through the basement wall because of the snow runoff and the hole not being sealed. I had also ask him to give me a quote on replacing the sediment water filter as the old system was obsolete. After giving the written quote. The price was more than reasonable. He didn't charge me anything the drain. He called the office and arranged to have them two technicians to be dispatched, the leak was fixed and new filter system was installed within 4 hrs on them same day. Kevin the technician was very professional and they always put their booties on to protect my carpet. Javier also offered the premium service plan that they come out three times a year to check the plumbing, the heater/air conditioner, cost me $19 a month. No high pressure sales! This is the second time that I had used their services and they have a customer for life.
