UPDATE: The Century Link Customer Service Representative on our recording was fired. But was she the only one at fault? Based on the number of similar complaints we’ve gotten, we feel that the issue of exaggerated deals is widespread. And what’s even more odd about this who;e thing is that they still did not satisfy the customer! He is stuck with a contract that is more expensive than originally promised. Is it sufficient to simply fire the representative and blame it on her? If she was an employee and agent of Century Link, shouldn’t they have to honor the original deal?
